Judge a forward and reverse primer against your template. Checks Tm balance, 3′ clamps, self- and cross-dimers by nearest-neighbor ΔG (with extra weight on duplexes that pair a 3′ end), hairpin self-priming and amplicon length, then gives a verdict.

What is oligo design evaluation?

Built by Dr. Lifeng Lin, a bioinformatics scientist in nucleic acid assay development for in vitro diagnostics since 2010. OligoDesign is a decision-support and educational tool; always independently verify designs before synthesis or regulated use.
